Obviously NFL starts today, and although we're VERY EXCITED for it. That also means opportunity elsewhere.... like baseball! 

TOP MLB Plays Today 9/7/17

Fairly safe slate tonight. Good pitching decisions seem within reach. 

Power Pitching Targets:

1. Corey Kluber, CLE ($13,100 DK, $11,600 FD)Kluber vs. the White Sox? Almost as good as it gets. He's played them 3x this year and every-time put up decent numbers, nothing that justifies the HUGE salary though. However, it's certainly more than a possibility tonight. CHW's lineup has a 25.8% K rate vs righties. CHW's lineup has a .291 wOBA vs righties. Everyday is a 10+ strikeout possibility for the Klubot. 

2.  Clayton Kershaw, LAD ($13,300 DK, $12,000 FD)Houston, we've got a problem. On one hand, Kershaw has been in the Perfect lineup 3/4times he's played Colorado this year. On the other hand, it's his 2nd game off the DL, Dodgers are headed to playoffs regardless. It's VERY likely they have Kershaw tread lightly tonight. BUT, his name is Clayton Kershaw and he can make you strikeout just by blinking at you. Your call here. 

3. Tanner Roark, WAS ($9000 DK, $8600 FD) - ContrarianNot a believer in Ace pitching? Here's ya boy! Tanner on a mini-tear right now. Scored 26.2 FPPG past 3 games. Righty going against the Phillies is never a bad idea. PHI's lineup has a 23.3% K rate vs righties. He's really starting to hit his stride: Top 90% avg exit velocity past 30 days: 83.8 mph. Roark seems to be hitting his stride, and is a great option tonight without breaking the bank with high upside. Downer, and it's a big one, is his history vs. PHI as recently as May is up/down including a negative game.

Favoring Kluber/Roark based on the potential for limited innings for Kershaw. However, Kershaw is the man who will make you regret not rostering him and thinking he's limited when he's not. 

Value Pitchers:

Good luck tonight! Just when everyone is jumping ship on baseball because of football means you've got a solid opportunity to make some moves. I'm very bullish on pitching, seems pretty clear tonight what you've got to do.
