TOP MLB Plays Today 9/26/17

Pitching this deep in the season becomes a bit of a conundrum.

Power Pitching Targets:

  1. Robbie Ray, ARI ($12,300 DK, $10,900 FD) -EASY MATCHUP-Can you forgive Robbie for getting Padres'ed? If so, tonight looks like a great opportunity against the SF Giants. He really tuned them up about a week ago at their stadium, with 10 strikeouts. SF's lineup has a .140 ISO vs lefties. In all (3) of his games vs. San Fran this year he's been in the perfect lineup. Will he make it 4 tonight or did we just curse him by bringing that up? You decide!

  2. Alex Wood, LAD ($9700 DK, $9400 FD) -VALUE POWER- Same ole' story here, Padres. Legit everything going in his favor, but those damn Padres like to rain on parades. Dodger Stadium: #2 most pitcher-friendly park. SD's lineup has a 23.4% K rate vs lefties. SD's lineup has a .302 wOBA vs lefties. SD hitting .170 vs Alex Wood in 54 at bats. Top 80% avg exit velocity past 30 days: 85.4 mp. What scares me? Lamet on the other side is a good pitcher, might get the best of some of the Dodgers. And, Padres hitting can catch fire sometimes, especially when they're motivated with Dodger filled-hatred.

  3. Chris Sale, BOS ($13,400 DK, $11,800 FD) -EXPENSIVE BUT WORTH?-Thrice has met Blue Jays this year, THRICE has crushed them. Each of those times he was visiting Canada. TOR hitting .160 vs Chris Sale in 116 at bats. Can he keep it rolling straight into Bostonian lands? After steamrolling Baltimore last week, he's regained DFS trust. TOR's lineup has a 21.9% K rate vs lefties adds to confidence. Sale is in a position to make it four-peat.

Baseball Mega-Icon Bartolo "BigSexy" Colon

Gentle reminder, the Daily Ledger wraps season 1 this Friday as post-season begins.

We welcome your feedback on how to improve for next season using the up/down vote below! Blunt feedback always appreciated.💨

Finally, is Bartolo worth it on FanDuel? Ya, for $44 it's a ton of salary relief and you've gotta try at least one lineup with him in it. We love the Indians and really believe they're going to light Big Sexy into retirement, but you can't blame us for believing in the mega-icon! One time for big sexy!
