There is some ridiculously good matchups tonight. A truly rare night for pitching when all the stars align to create the best matchups for both Power + Value.

Power Pitching Targets:

  1. Corey Kluber, CLE ($13,300 DK, $11,800 FD)Kluber looks very good on paper tonight. Ace Pitcher meets a battered Tigers is always a story line we're interested in. He thrived against them earlier this month (Sep 2.) and we don't see any reason why tonight should be any different. Here's the sauce: DET's lineup has a 23.1% K rate vs righties. DET's lineup has a .301 wOBA vs righties. DET's lineup has a .116 ISO vs righties. DET hitting .200 vs Corey Kluber in 89 at bats. Averages 22% more FP while Home. Top 85% avg exit velocity past 30 days: 84.3 mph. What worries us? He did struggle vs. Tigers earlier this year, but twas' a different team then. Only other worry, is Cleveland yanking Klubot early due to preserving his sweet goodness for playoffs.

  2. Clayton Kershaw, LAD ($13,000 DK, $11,600 FD)Kershaw, and lets face it the Dodgers as a whole, have been embarrassed lately. You think he's going to let the Giants get the best of him? In 2/3 matchups this year, he's met projections. Sauce: SF's lineup has a .302 wOBA vs lefties. SF's lineup has a .120 ISO vs lefties. SF hitting .210 vs Clayton Kershaw in 150 at bats. Tonight's the night Kershaw snaps the Dodgers downfall.

Klubot looks like the clear winner here in our humble opinion.
