Power Pitching Targets:

  1. Marcus Stroman, TOR ($11,500 DK, $9100 FD)Stroman seems like the safest power pitcher tonight. He's holding the upper-hand in this fight: TB's lineup has a 22.4% K rate vs righties. TB hitting .240 vs Marcus Stroman in 136 at bats. He's scored 22.62 FPPG past 2 games. Top 95% avg distance past 30 days: 172.2 feet. The bad? TB's lineup has a .324 wOBA vs righties. TB's lineup has a .188 ISO vs righties. He's exceeded projections every-time he has faced TB this year including earlier this month. Anything could happen, but this is the safest matchup for power pitching tonight. Bargain on FanDuel.  

  2. Corey Kluber, CLE ($12,700 DK, $11,000 FD) Now that we got the "safest" out of the way, we can talk about the highest upside. Kluber is trending downward, playing Boston tonight has his salary in an actual reasonable proposition considering his uber-status. Red Sox can hit righties all day long, to that regard here's the bad news: BOS's lineup has a 19% K rate vs righties. BOS's lineup has a .342 wOBA vs righties. BOS's lineup has a .192 ISO vs righties. However, if Kluber can get his strikeout machine going he's got huge upside. Having a historic season and performing almost 25% better when he's at home like tonight, says he's a great option for upside tonight if you don't mind siding against Boston.

Honorable mention to Zach Godley who has upside potential and good matchup especially considering Flexen on the other side. Going to avoid Severino tonight, but he's capable of doing dmg as well.
