Power Pitching Targets:

  1. K. Gausman, BAL ($8500 DK, $8700 FD)He had one bad game against the lowly Angel's last week and now his price drops to earth. Gausman is a strikeout pitcher and Seattle can be a strikeout heavy team. SEA's lineup has a 21.6% K rate vs righties. Top 95% avg exit velocity past 30 days: 83.1 mph. Top 80% avg distance past 30 days: 189.2 feet. I wouldn't call Gausman dependable by any means, but there is a strong upside possibility here. The risk is him melting down like he did against the Angel's which would be catastrophic in this scenario vs. Mariners.  

  2. C. McHugh, HOU ($8300 DK, $7900 FD)McHugh Hefner has a lot going for him this evening. ARI's lineup has a 23.2% K rate vs righties. Great historicals, ARI hitting .240 vs Collin McHugh in 50 at bats. The bad? Greinke on the other side. ARI's lineup has a .344 wOBA vs righties. ARI's lineup has a .189 ISO vs righties. When it comes to this matchup I'd rather be on the McHugh upside train vs. the uphill truck that Greinke has to sludge. Honestly this matchup could go either way, but this is as close as you get to a power pitcher for value pricing.  TL;DR - TB isn't great vs. Righties, Carlos has good history vs them, but he hasn't been Carlos as of late.
