Small slates always mean opportunity. When it comes to pitching tonight unless you like awkward contrarian picks or value rookie gambles, it looks like you'll have to pay up for Lester/Archer.

Power Pitching Targets:

1. J. Lester, CHC ($11,900 DK, $10,000 FD) Little known fact... Jon Lester hates Roller Coasters. True story. This is great news for you, because the man has been doing pretty damn good this season and typically performs well against the White Sox. Last two weeks have been great for Lester in fact, he's scored 32.48 FPPG past 2 games. Here's the rest of the sauce: Guaranteed Rate Field: #10 most pitcher-friendly park. CHW's lineup has a 23.5% K rate vs lefties. CHW's lineup has a .304 wOBA vs lefties. CHW's lineup has a .131 ISO vs lefties. Not too many huge pitching options tonight, but Lester looks pretty positive as long as nobody brings any pictures of Roller Coasters to the park tonight.

2. C. Archer, TB ($11,100 DK, $10,500 FD)Archer is going to get overlooked tonight because the Yankees matchup. He's no stranger to successfully punishing hot teams and we're thinking tonight he should be just fine. His strikeouts should overcome any ER that fall his way. Two months ago when he faced the Yankees in their prime he had a double digit strikeout day (12). Last week against the Rangers he had 11K+1BB and he recorded an L, and you can bet he's not too happy about that one. NYY's lineup has a 21.7% K rate vs righties should give you a little faith that he's got a chance at 5K+ night. Hopefully he's earned your trust and the Judge goes easy on his sentencing tonight. There is some weather late in the game but thus far looks ok.
