TOP MLB Plays Today 7/19/17

Lot of the big games went down early this morning. That's good news for you, this limited 7-Game Slate helps narrow your focus to concentrate on exactly what you need to succeed. 

Power Pitching Targets:

1. G. González, WAS ($10,700 DK, $9100 FD) (NOT ON DK MAIN SLATE!)Gio is our top pitching pick tonight for good reason. He's facing a soft Angels lineup under ideal conditions.  Angel Stadium of Anaheim: #8 most pitcher-friendly park. LAA's lineup has a .135 ISO vs lefties. Even in 2 recent close games Gio managed 27.30 FPPG, has also had 19.85 over 16 games. Top 80% avg exit velocity past 30 days: 84.8 mph Top 80% avg distance past 30 days: 190.3 feet. Gio is green lit for tonight. FanDuel only, for whatever reason DK left them out :( if you want power pitching for DK Greinke or consider DeGrom but see note below. 

2.  Z. Greinke, ARI ($11,700 DK, $10200 FD) Mr. Greinke been handling biz lately. Facing the Reds who aren't the worst in the NL, but close... we love the matchup. CIN in particular has a tough time against Greinke hitting .210 in 42 at bats. Add that in with the heater he's been on, scoring 30.35 FPPG past 2 games. Top 95% avg exit velocity past 30 days: 82.6 mph. Then you should really love the matchup! The bad news is Zach tends to avg 45.7% less FP while Away, so that might put some caution up in the air for you. 

Note: We left DeGrom off. He's red hot but overdue for something bad to happen. St. Louis is surging forward post break and has handled the Mets with ease in the past two games. DeGrom may very well have a great night - completely up to you on that one. End note, Fowler/DeJong/Gyorko all have homeruns this season on DeGrom.

Here's a few things ideas to keep your game focused and consistently winning until you venture into deeper waters:

• Play in Beginner and Casual contests, which you can find by using the Contest Type Filter in the Lobby 

• Create a League and challenge your friends in private contests 

• Look for tournaments with lower multi-entry caps, such as "3 Entry Max" and "Single Entry" contests
