What did you miss while scoring 2 TD on the Yankees:

Yes the Red Sox gave Chris Sale quite a bit of run support last night, even though he didn't need it, holding New York batters to 1ER over 6.0 IP. With 2 more strikeouts Tuesday, Giancarlo Stanton now has 9 more (22) through 11 games than Joe DiMaggio did over the entire 1941 season (13). The Angels and Mets keep rolling. The Rockies lose another one to the Padres at home, and speaking of home – the White Sox have wrecked theirs with an 0-5 start at Guaranteed Rate Field. It's a small schedule for the main slate tonight with just six games, but let's see if we can unearth some treasures.

Lester Waving You In!

TOP MLB Plays Today 4/11 🚨

Sale was a solid play last night, getting the win and 8 K's. Our other picks were Carlos Martinez (1ER, 4 SO), Felix Hernandez (W, 3ER, 3SO), and Caleb Smith (3ER, 7SO) so all in all not a bad night. At least we stayed away from Luis Severino (5ER) and Martin Perez (8ER). There's two main entrees on the pitching menu tonight but a lot of trimmings after that. This is good though, it means a lot of variety from your DFS opponents.

Power Pitching Targets ⚾️

Value Pitchers:

  1. Zack Wheeler ($ 7,500 DK, $ 6,000 FD)If you want to stay away from Lester and Price tonight, a good bet for ace of the night is Zack Wheeler. At the very least, he should be in line for a win as the 9-1 Mets take on the 3-8 Marlins. Wheeler is getting called up from Vegas for a spot start so we don't know what to expect from him – which could be a good thing (note: or bad). In one start in AAA Vegas, Wheeler allowed 1ER in 5IP while striking out six. The Mets are still -150 favorites despite the call up so it could be a big night for Wheeler in Miami, the #3 most pitcher-friendly park in the league.

  2. Jaime Barria ($ 5,700 DK, $ 5,500 FD)Barria is Wednesday's lowest priced pitcher as he makes his MLB debut. It's a sign of a pretty crazy slate that he still has a lot of value. For one, the right hander is up against a Texas team that is the 4th worst in baseball in runs/game. The Rangers were humiliated 1-11 last night and will face a 16MPH wind blowing in tonight. Texas has a 25.3% K rate vs RH pitching and Barria had a 2.80 ERA as he rose up the minor league ranks in 2017.

Sanchez Revenge! He got Sale'd last night, he's back in biz tonight!

  • Javy Baez – After a 2HR day yesterday he should go dry for awhile right? Not necessarily because when Baez gets hot, he goes on some pretty impressive runs. Granted, after two long balls yesterday we might see Javy swinging out of his spikes on his way to a 4K today – and we're not talking 4K as in the quality of your TV. Baez is hitting .429 against Pittsburgh's Steven Brault so he's worth a play.

Stacks on Stacks πŸ₯ž

There's some windy nights across the MLB landscape tonight. There's double digit gusts to right in Cleveland and Philly and an 11MPH surge over the Green Monster in Fenway. At the same time it's coming in at 18MPH in Texas and has shifted in from right on a chilly night at Wrigley. Moral of the story- there's stacks to be had and stacks to be avoided.

  • BOS – Martinez / Betts / Ramirez – RH batters get it going again for Boston tonight

  • TOR – Donaldson / Smoak / Pillar – Team has a .316 average against BAL's Gausman

  • NYY– Judge / Sanchez / Stanton – Price has been great, but Yanks have a .336 average and 6HR against him

  • NYM– Cabrera / Cespedes / Flores – Miami's LH starter makes his 1st big league start after allowing 2ER in 10IP out of the bullpen

Reverse Stack – Or Is It?

  •  PIT – Harrison / Bell / Marte – Pittsburgh's #1 offense in baseball is the biggest underdog of the night at +165. Lester pitched solid last outing, but that was also against Milwaukee's 7th worst scoring offense. The Cubs LH has been a slow starter that didn't get his first win until his sixth game last year so he could be shaky.

Perfect LU from last night, watch tonight's come together in Real-Time!

For a small slate, there's actually a lot to look forward to tonight. Some other players to keep in mind are Kris Bryant (5-7, HR, 5R vs Brault), Tyler Austin (3-3, HR vs Price) and Shohei Ohtani (he's Shohei Ohtani). We've got windy nights and warming temps which means it's a great night for baseball.
