THAT'S RIGHT! Your dude is covering for Ryan AGAIN today. As always, I'll start with the disclaimer that I don't look at stats. I'll be playing some single entry, 3-max, and 150-max contests tonight (ALL GPP ALL DAY), so I'm going to focus primarily on spots that hover in the middle of the ownership spectrum that looks to also provide some leverage.

Lots of weather to keep an eye on for tonight. We're still hours from the lock, so let's just list them out:

Gerrit Cole (RHP), NYY | DK: $10.5k, FD: $11.2k | @OAK

Let's get this out of the way. Fried, Gausman, and Nola would be some of my favorites if it weren't for weather risks tonight. Take those three out, and according to my calculations, Cole has the best probability and hitting his target score for tonight. I'm not going all in, but will have him where I can fit him.

Wade Miley (LHP), CIN | DK: $9.2k, FD: $8.8k | @MIA

Another good target if you're trying to avoid weather risks tonight, is Wade Miley. He's a little more expensive than I'd prefer (isn't that always the case?), but I can live with that and wouldn't mind rolling him in single pitcher formats (FanDuel).

Kris Bubic (LHP), KC | DK: $6.5k, FD: $8.3k | @SEA

Here's my cheapie for tonight. Like last night, you might want to consider playing a Seattle stack to hedge.

Disclaimer: There is no rule saying you *have* to stack in MLB DFS. It’s just a super common method that GPP-winning lineups often deploy. Picking a bunch of one-off hitters and/or some two/three-man mini-stacks can certainly take down big prizes as well.

Naquin, Barnhart, Castellanos, India, Votto if you're running 5-mans.

 San Diego Padres vs. Who Knows (LHP/RHP), LAA

Cronenworth, Tatis, Machado, Hosmer, Myers (if he makes the lineup, if not, Nola) if you're running 5-mans.

Houston Astros vs. Glenn Otto (LRHP), TEX

Alvarez, Altuve, Brantley, Meyers, Correa if you're running 5-mans.

Low-Owned Stack That Just Might Work Out 🤔

Seattle Mariners vs. Kris Bubic (LHP), SEA

If you're going to take a high-risk pitcher, please play a hedge-stacked lineup against him. Even if it's in a dime or quarter contest. If Bubic is trash, at least you'll get something back - hopefully, your entry fee for Bubic lineups at a minimum.
